Senior Backend Integration Engineer (Kafka / Remedy / Helix)

The Select Group is seeking a skilled Remedy Developer to join our client in Greenwood Village, CO. This hybrid position requires onsite presence four days a week, with the flexibility to work remotely one day per week. Apply today! 

Project Details: This position focuses on backend system integration, real-time event processing, and outage workflow engineering within a complex telecom environment.

This resource will support our client's team, which owns outage processing and customer communication workflows tied to the broader Network Evolution initiative.

Must Have Skills

• 3+ years of hands-on BMC Remedy development experience (we are gauging depth of experience more than years)
• Experience customizing and building workflows within Remedy / Helix
• Strong Linux environment experience
• Oracle / SQL (heavy database interaction)
• Java development experience (backend integration work)
• Experience working with event-driven systems (Kafka or similar preferred)
• Strong English comprehension (must be able to read and interpret technical documentation)

Preferred / Nice to Have

• Telecom / cable / fixed-line industry experience (HIGHLY preferred)
• BMC Helix experience
• Experience with distributed systems and network topology concepts
• Kubernetes / containerized environments

Day to day responsibilities: This Senior Software Developer will be supporting the Remedy ticketing team that developers their internal ticketing tool. This individual will be joining a team of 8, which includes a Team Lead, a Project Manager, and other Software Developers
