Project:
Remediating accessibility on two different projects roughly 700 bugs. Both for wealth within secure pages on Investorline. Bugs have been identified, these developers will come in and remediate the work


Must Have Skills:
  • 2-3 years professional experience
  • Angular (version 16 or 17)
  • Git – comfortable working hands-on
  • HTML, CSS, JavaScript
  • Accessibility experience – 2.0 AA compliance AODA
    • NVDA is what they used but if they’ve used something like Jaws that would be okay (testing tools)

One of the Select Group's clients is seeking a Network Consulting Engineer to join their team and assist in the upgrade of a Data Centre environment - including the implementation of ACE and the migration of Nexus 7ks to 9ks. This role will be on-site in Ottawa and requires an active Level II Secret Clearance.

 

Network Consulting Engineer Requirements:

  • Level II (Secret) Clearance

Project details:
As a member of this team you will be supporting our clients nationwide ORAN 5G network and their Private Cloud. The team is preparing for an on-prem (virtualized environment) to cloud migration. To support this migration, we are bringing on DevOps engineers with strong Kubernetes and automation experience.
The migration project is starting in Feb 2025, so between now and then, the team will be ramping up and training on any needed skillsets.
This is a support team with potential to grow into dedicated Kubernetes, Cloud, and Data Engineering teams within the Wireless Cloud organization. 
 
  • As part of a Wireless platform team, you will be supporting multiple critical applications by responding to high volume incidences and providing resolutions to Tier 1 and Tier 2 tickets. 
  • This team supports 4 teams - Private Cloud, CaaS (Container as a Service), Data Ops and Systems Operations (Shared Services) - the two focal points for this team are Linux and Kubernetes. Horizontal movement for technical expertise expansion is an option! Also room for growth into a Escalation point, Lead etc. is always top of mind for this team.

 Day to day:

IMS Network Test Engineer:
This project focuses on migrating Voice over LTE (VoLTE) services to new hardware platforms while maintaining the existing IMS-based software application. The role requires an experienced IMS Network Engineer with a strong background in QA and Test Validation to conduct comprehensive testing of VoLTE services within the IP Multimedia Subsystem (IMS) framework. The ideal candidate should possess in-depth knowledge of IMS architecture, VoLTE call flows, SIP signaling, and proficiency in specialized IMS testing tools and methodologies.   This is going to be a long term contract, located in either Bellevue, WA or Leawood, KS.

IMS Network Test Engineer Requirements:

  • 5+ years of Mavenir IMS Core Network Platform Experience (if minimal IMS specifically, must be strong in Nokia background – must be version 1 or 1.5) 
  • Must have TAS, I/S-CSCF and BGCF within IMS Solutions 
  • Experience validating IMS E2E call flows. 
  • This is critical for the QA/Test Validation aspect of the role, ensuring end-to-end functionality of VoLTE calls. 
  • Strong knowledge of TCP/IP networking, TCP, UDP, SCTP, HTTP. 
  • Must have the VoLTE experience within the network (Voice over LTE Network) 
  • Interfaces: Sh, Cx, H.248, SIGTRAN 
  • Protocols: SIP, DIAMETER, HTTP, SS7, MAP 
  • Familiarity with UNIX, LINUX, Kubernetes, virtualization and Cloud Native. 
  • Knowledge of protocol analysis, Wireshark, Netscout, tcpdump:  
  • These tools are essential for debugging and analyzing VoLTE call flows and network traffic, which is a key part of QA and test validation.

  • Experience with testing and troubleshooting on the Mavenir IMS TAS, CSCF and BGCF 

IMS Network Test Engineer Responsibilities:
  • Support E2E validation of IMS solution, TAS, I/S-CSCF, BGCF software releases and features. 
  • Support IMS core Lab issue diagnoses, troubleshooting and resolution 
  • Design and execute rigorous test plans for regression, performance, and end-to-end validation of VoLTE calls in the IMS environment. 
  • Manage increased testing frequency due to platform updates, maintaining consistent performance metrics, and optimizing test procedures for IMS-based VoLTE services.
  • Ensure seamless functionality, optimal voice quality, and adherence to IMS protocols across various platform changes
