Title: Supply Planning Business Analyst (Oracle)
Location: San Jose, CA (onsite 1–2 days/week)
Duration: Long-term contract (conversion potential after July)
Interview Process: 1–2 rounds

Overview
This role supports a Demand & Supply Planning team for silicon/semiconductor products, focused on sustaining and optimizing planning operations within an Oracle Cloud environment.
This is not a traditional execution role. The focus is on supporting planners by ensuring planning outputs are accurate, investigating discrepancies, and maintaining system integrity across planning cycles.
The ideal candidate brings a strong understanding of both supply chain planning and system behavior, with the ability to analyze outputs, identify root causes (data, configuration, or real supply changes), and provide guidance to the business.
Must-Have Skills

  • Semiconductor supply chain experience
  • Strong experience in Supply Planning within structured planning cycles (weekly/monthly/quarterly)
  • Hands-on experience with Oracle Cloud Planning (Demand, Supply, Inventory)
  • Ability to root cause and debug planning outputs (data vs configuration vs true supply changes)
  • Deep understanding of end-to-end supply chain (planning, procurement, inventory flow)
  • Experience supporting planners and business users in a production planning environment
  • Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret and validate planning outputs
  • Experience in enterprise tech, semiconductor, or hardware environments
Nice to Have
  • Experience supporting or participating in Oracle planning implementations
  • Exposure to procurement/purchasing flows tied to supply planning
  • Background in high-tech, networking, or optical manufacturing
  • Ability to collaborate closely with architects and cross-functional teams
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
  • Support weekly, monthly, and quarterly supply planning cycles
  • Analyze planning outputs and determine validity vs system/data issues
  • Perform root cause analysis on planning exceptions and outliers
  • Debug issues within Oracle Cloud planning modules
  • Ensure data inputs and system integrity are accurate and complete
  • Partner with planners to validate supply plans and resolve discrepancies
  • Support both supply and demand planning processes
  • Collaborate with architects and cross-functional teams to maintain system performance and planning accuracy
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders on planning risks, inconsistencies, and system behavior
