Regional Program Manager (RPM)
The Select Group’s Telecommunications Vertical is seeking a Regional Program Manager (RPM) to lead end-to-end delivery of infrastructure, utility, and construction projects for data center sites. This role oversees complex, multi-disciplinary projects across the full lifecycle—from master planning through construction readiness—ensuring alignment on scope, schedule, budget, and compliance.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of project or program management experience within construction, infrastructure, utilities, or civil projects
- Experience developing cost estimates across the construction project lifecycle
- Strong background in budgeting, cost control, and schedule management
- Experience with contract management, including procurement, negotiations, RFIs, and change orders
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field
Project Lifecycle Management
- Lead multiple infrastructure and construction projects across planning, permitting, and execution phases
- Develop and maintain project plans, schedules, budgets, and risk mitigation strategies
- Track progress and ensure alignment with timelines, costs, and deliverables
- Partner with internal stakeholders to gather and document project requirements (e.g., capacity, power, timelines)
- Track updates and maintain accurate records within internal systems
- Communicate changes in scope, schedule, or budget to relevant teams
- Collaborate with internal design teams to align on project execution and expectations
- Support procurement strategies, RFP/bidding processes, and subcontractor evaluations
- Manage RFIs, change orders, and purchase orders
- Ensure compliance with local regulations, permitting requirements, and internal standards
- Coordinate with internal teams and external vendors to meet project milestones
- Provide regular progress reporting and status updates to leadership
- Partner with project controls teams to ensure adherence to budgets and schedules
- Identify and mitigate risks related to land, utilities, construction delays, and compliance
- Support change management and contingency planning efforts
- Manage relationships with general contractors, subcontractors, utilities, and external partners
- Negotiate scopes of work, SLAs, and timelines
- Monitor vendor performance and contract compliance
