Sr. Front-End Developer 
The Select Group is seeking a hands-on technical lead who can drive front-end architecture, implement integrations with Salesforce, and establish best engineering practices. This individual will work closely with stakeholders while mentoring another developer and guiding the platform toward a stable, production-ready solution.This role requires someone comfortable taking ownership of front-end development, making architectural decisions, and helping elevate development standards across the team.

Sr. Front-End Developer Qualifications

  • 6+ years of professional experience in front-end or full-stack development.
  • Strong expertise with Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
  • Experience leading development efforts or mentoring engineers, including conducting code reviews.
  • Hands-on experience integrating applications with Salesforce APIs (REST, SOAP, or Lightning Platform).
  • Experience working with cloud platforms, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
  • Experience building secure, enterprise-grade web applications.

  • Driving the technical direction of the front-end platform as it scales.
  • Improving code quality and engineering practices across the project.
  • Delivering a stable, high-performance user experience for TELUS sales teams.
  • Providing technical mentorship and leadership while remaining hands-on in development

Key Responsibilities
  • Lead front-end development for a growing sales enablement platform using Next.js, React, TypeScript, and Tailwind CSS.
  • Guide the application’s transition from prototype to scalable production solution.
  • Integrate front-end features with Salesforce APIs and backend data services.
  • Establish and promote engineering best practices, including code quality standards, documentation, and architecture improvements.
  • Conduct code reviews and mentor another developer, helping elevate team capability.
  • Collaborate closely with product owners, engineers, and data teams to deliver a seamless user experience.
  • Identify and resolve technical debt from the prototype phase.
  • Ensure the platform supports secure enterprise environments, including authentication, session management, and data protection.
  • Contribute to architectural discussions around performance, scalability, and data handling as the platform grows.
