Title: Business Analyst

Project Details:
Our client's Wealth Management division has recently launched a new AI Office focused on accelerating innovation across the business. As part of this initiative, the team is kicking off several AI-driven projects that were not included in prior-year planning or resourcing forecasts.
With these new initiatives rapidly coming online, we are expanding the team to help define requirements, scope capabilities, and support the development of next generation cognitive automation tools.
Must Have Skills:
- 10+ years in investment, wealth or asset management
- Strong Data Domain understanding from the business side
- Querying skills with SQL - will be asked to run simple queries in Snowflake
Key Responsibilities
Requirements Discovery
- Work with the AI Office and business stakeholders to gather requirements for the GAM Agents project.
- Understand the risk monitoring workflows of portfolio managers.
- Document functionality around continuous monitoring, alert triggers, and escalation pathways.
- Capture requirements for data sources, integrations, and automated information retrieval.
AI & Cognitive Automation Requirements
- Define needs around semantic similarity searches, retrieval augmentation, and intelligent data filtering.
- Identify rules for cleaning, transforming, and simplifying large volumes of market and research data.
- Translate brainstorming concepts into structured requirements and user stories.
Front-End Experience Requirements
- Document expectations for a GUI-based interface that supports:
- Dynamic visualizations
- Multimedia content
- Translation capability
- User friendly summaries and data transformations
- Map out how portfolio managers will interact with the platform day to day.
- Strong experience in requirements gathering, business analysis, or product discovery.
- Ability to operate in environments with high ambiguity, newly forming teams, and rapid activation of projects.
- Comfort working with AI, automation concepts, or data?driven systems (not necessarily hands?on).
- Strong documentation and communication skills.
- Experience in financial services or wealth management is helpful but not mandatory.

Collaboration & Planning
- Align with internal development leads to outline what will be needed when the project moves from requirements into build.
- Help identify where additional front-end and back-end developers may be required.
- Support ongoing scoping as the AI Office continues forming and refining its roadmap.
