Program Manager (Stamford, CT)

The Select Group’s Telecommunications industry is seeking a seasoned consultant with extensive experience in cable and telecommunications to lead integration and transformation initiatives, including large-scale mergers and acquisitions. In this capacity, you will contribute to enterprise-level M&A programs, gain broad organizational visibility, and partner directly with senior executives to deliver impactful outcomes across the organization.

The Impact You'll have

  • Partner with business and technology leaders to define project scope, success criteria, and integration strategies aligned to organizational goals.
  • Lead and facilitate strategic planning, requirements sessions, and cross-functional workshops to identify dependencies and critical milestones.
  • Develop and maintain comprehensive project and communication plans that ensure transparency and accountability.
  • Provide advisory support on best practices for change management, operational readiness, and business transition planning.
  • Translate complex information into executive-ready communications, presentations, and reports.
  • Proactively manage risks, dependencies, and decision points while influencing outcomes across diverse stakeholder groups.
  • Ensure testing, training, and customer operations readiness are seamlessly integrated into project delivery milestones (Day 1, Day 90, etc.).

 

What You'll Bring

  • Extensive background in cable and telecommunications, ideally with experience in video and seamless entertainment environments.
  • Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills with meticulous attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to design and execute complex program roadmaps with multiple interdependencies.
  • Exceptional communication and presentation skills; ability to confidently interface with senior leadership.
  • Highly self-directed with the ability to operate independently while building consensus across teams.
  • Familiarity with large-scale transformation or enterprise change initiatives.
  • Advanced knowledge of MS Project, Visio, Excel, and related tools for planning and documentation.
