REGIONAL PROGRAM MANAGER – REMOTE (EST)
We are seeking a talented Regional Program Manager to support large-scale data center and infrastructure projects. As the Regional Program Manager (RPM), you will be responsible for a host of duties related to end-to-end infrastructure, utility, & construction delivery of their data center sites. You will lead complex multi-disciplinary projects focused on data center development and utility management. This role involves managing the full project lifecycle, from master planning to construction readiness, including coordinating with various stakeholders, managing schedules, budgets, and ensuring adherence to timelines and costs. This is a remote opportunity that will require occasional travel (once/quarter) and must sit in Eastern Time Zone.
REGIONAL PROGRAM MANAGER MUST HAVE SKILLS:
- 6 - 12 years of Construction-based Project Management or Program Management experience
- Mission critical, hyperscale, and/or heavy civil experience
- Project budgeting, cost management/coordination, & schedule management, experience
- Contract Management experience
- Procurement processes, due diligence, contract negotiations, submitting change orders, managing purchase orders, submitting RFI's, etc.
REGIONAL PROGRAM MANAGER NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:
- Data Center delivery experience or other mission critical construction
- Substation construction or power development delivery experience
- Exposure to land acquisition processes (negotiations, zoning, permitting, etc.)
- PMP or similar project management certification
- OSHA Certifications
- Familiarity with power purchase agreements (PPAs) or utility interconnection processes
- Electrical or Civil Engineering degree. Engineering background (civil, electrical, or mechanical)
REGIONAL PROGRAM MANAGER RESPONSBILITIES:
- Maintain quality of projects, which each can be at different stages of the construction lifecycle - including preconstruction phases.
- Monitor project performance in terms of safety, quality, cost, and schedule.
- Handle project handover, closeout, data capture, and benchmarking.
- Track project progress and communicate updates to stakeholders, including potential delays, risks, and mitigation strategies.
- Collaborate with vendors and external contractors to manage timelines, budgets, and deliverables.
- Manage scope changes to balance project flexibility with budgetary and timeline constraints.
- Drive process improvements related to infrastructure, billing tools, and operational workflows.
- Experience with capacity planning, planning data center infrastructure, or managing large scale distributed systems.
- Experience leading cross-functional process improvements and holding project leads accountable to the greater project goals.
- Provide ownership over end-to-end project life-cycle.
- Manage large capital expense portfolio.
- Collaborate and influence across multiple levels of an organization
