EPIC REFERRALS ANALYST | REMOTE (EST)
The Select Group is looking for a talented Epic Referrals Analyst to join one of our top healthcare partners. This person will support the planning, build, implementation, and optimization of Epic referrals workflows. This role will partner closely with IT, operational leaders, referral coordinators, and clinical staff to ensure that referral processes are efficient, compliant, and aligned with organizational goals.

EPIC REFERRALS ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Certified Cadence Analyst with demonstrated experience in Epic Referrals build and support
  • Epic Welcome certification with experience in builds and implementations
  • 3-5+ years of Epic analyst experience, preferably with referrals, work queues, and scheduling
  • Strong understanding of healthcare referral processes, patient access, and revenue cycle implications
  • Epic online scheduling experience
Bonus skills:
  • Previous experience with large-scale Epic implementations or optimizations
  • Familiarity with reporting tools, i.e., Clarity, SlicerDicer, or other Epic reporting modules
  • Experience supporting go-live and post-live optimization

EPIC REFERRALS ANALYST RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Collaborate with operational stakeholders (referral coordinators, schedulers, clinical leaders) to gather requirements and translate them into Epic build.
  • Design, build, test, and validate Epic referrals workflows, including work queues, routing, scheduling, and referral management.
  • Ensure compliance with payer rules, prior authorization requirements, and regulatory guidelines.
  • Develop training content, workflow documentation, and provide knowledge transfer to operational teams.
  • Participate in system and integrated testing, identifying issues and ensuring proper resolution.
  • Provide at-the-elbow support during go-live and stabilization phases.
  • Monitor referral metrics and optimize workflows post-live.
  • Collaborate with governance groups to review requests and implement approved enhancements.
