SERVICE DESK TECHNICIAN | REMOTE (8am-5pm EST)
The Select Group is looking for a talented Service Desk Technician to join one of our top insurance partners. This person will be responsible for providing Level 1 remote via phone or email to over 1,700 users.
SERVICE DESK TECHNICIAN REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years as a Service Desk Tier 1 consultant
- Experience with Active Directory and/or Azure
- Proficient in onboarding/offboarding user accounts, troubleshooting Microsoft Office Suite, setting up PCs, and migrating user data
- Strong documentation skills for logging and resolving end user issues
- Ability to call end users to walk through troubleshooting steps
- Experience with the following tools and platforms: ServiceNow, Ninja RMM, Azure, Microsoft 365 Suite, Adobe
- Experience with O365 enterprise: issuing licenses, creating identities, and troubleshooting M365 applications
- Comfortable managing multiple projects and supporting a wide variety of applications
SERVICE DESK TECHNICIAN RESPONSIBILITIES
- Provide Level 1 remote IT support via phone and email
- Troubleshoot and resolve Tier 1 IT issues across software, hardware, and account management
- Support a user base of over 1,700 employees
- Perform initial issue triage and escalate to Tier 2/3 teams as needed
- Onboard and offboard users, including account setup and user data migration
- Maintain accurate and through documentation of tickets and resolutions in ServiceNow
- Use remote management tools, like Ninja RMM, to resolve technical issues
- Work collaboratively on IT projects involving multiple business applications
