Sr. Business Analyst
Length: 12+ month contract
Location: Charlotte, NC (4 days per week on site; 1 day per week remote)
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Business Analyst to join the Customer Operations Business Team. This role will serve as a strategic liaison between Channel Owners, Journey Owners, IT teams, and vendors to define and design enhanced customer service experiences. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of customer operations and IT systems and work independently with minimal supervision to align business needs with technology solutions.
Sr. Business Analyst Requirements:
- 10+ years of experience in business analysis/systems analysis
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills with attention to detail
- Ability to manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and perform under pressure
- Proven leadership skills and ability to work independently
- Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written
- Skilled in using Microsoft Office tools, including Word, Excel, and Visio
Sr. Business Analyst Responsibilities:
- Actively support initiatives to simplify and improve the overall customer experience.
- Analyze current business operations to identify strengths, weaknesses, and opportunities for automation.
- Elicit, document, and manage complex business requirements and process flows.
- Facilitate clear communication between business units and IT to ensure solution alignment with strategic goals.
- Drive alignment and commitment from all stakeholders through negotiation and collaboration.
- Partner with business teams to integrate technology solutions into broader business strategies.
- Support project execution by updating project plans and collaborating with Project Managers.
- Conduct cost-benefit and data analysis to evaluate the feasibility and efficiency of solutions.
- Work closely with reporting teams to support report analysis, triage issues, and validate accuracy of next best actions.
- Develop and execute test plans for functional and user acceptance testing (UAT).
- Perform additional duties as required in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
