Training Classroom Assistant x2 - ONSITE, Lake Norman, NC
Reason for Need:
Support is needed in preparation for the upcoming GoLive of the new Lake Norman Hospital. Two Classroom assistants are requested to support End Users as they prepare for Epic EMR training.
Project Details:
This role will support adult learners as they learn Epic’s EMR.  These assistants will help individuals from all backgrounds and vary technological proficiency levels in the classroom while they complete their mandatory EMR training.  The consultants will train end users in accessing their computer workstations in the classroom/lab, log into their computers, log into an Epic training environment, as well as participate in a Zoom meeting with the online instructor to complete training.  This will be onsite assistance. 
Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one and small-group assistance with computer tasks (e.g., Epic training environment access, joining Zoom meetings for training, accessing the Learning Management System to complete end-of-class quizzes).
  • Help instructors set up hardware, software, and training materials before each session.
  • Support learners during training by helping learners communicate with the remote instructors.
  • Assist with troubleshooting basic tech issues during class.
  • Turn in Service Now tickets for technical issues that cannot be immediately resolved.
  • Track attendance, organize digital handouts, and maintain training resources.
  • Create a welcoming and inclusive classroom space for adult learners.

Must-Have Skills:
  • Familiarity with common computer applications (Microsoft Office, email platforms, browsers, etc.).
  • Comfort working with adults from a variety of educational and cultural backgrounds.
  • Excellent communication skills with a focus on patience and clarity.
  • Ability to multitask and support learners at different levels simultaneously.
  • Ability to work independently and within a team in a high-pressure environment
  • Flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced setting
Education Requirements:
  • Associates degree in IT or Bachelor’s degree in a related field or 1+ years of equivalent technical or call center experience

Remote Info: This position is onsite in Lake Norman.  Drug Test and Background check required.  Flu vaccination required during flu season
