Commercial Project Coordinator (Remote; USA)
The Select Group is seeking a Commercial Project Coordinator who will be acting as the project coordinator responsible for coordinating contractual terms from execution through project closeout

Commercial Project Coordinator Requirements:

  • 7–10 years of commercial construction project or program management experience, ideally with a focus mission-critical infrastructure projects of similar scale.
  • Proven expertise in cost management, including budget planning, forecasting, and financial tracking throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Strong background in schedule management, with experience overseeing project timelines, milestones, and deliverables to ensure on-time execution.
  • Direct, hands-on experience in commercial management processes, including procurement, risk management, change control, contract administration, and contract negotiations.
  • Experience working either directly for a large general contractor or closely alongside them in a day-to-day project delivery environment.

Commercial Project Coordinator Responsibilities:
  • Lead cross-functional coordination with internal partner teams and external stakeholders to ensure alignment across all phases of project delivery.
  • Manage and maintain comprehensive Project Status Reports, providing clear visibility into cost performance, budget adherence, and schedule tracking for executive and stakeholder review.
  • Oversee end-to-end procurement processes, including purchase order creation, invoice reconciliation, and vendor payment workflows, ensuring compliance with financial controls and project timelines.
  • Drive the review, coordination, and execution of change orders, ensuring timely implementation and accurate cost/schedule impact assessments.
  • Actively monitor and enforce all commercial obligations in accordance with contractual terms, identifying risks and ensuring vendor accountability throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Report on key schedule milestones and deliverables to the Leased Asset Management (LAM) team and other cross-functional groups, facilitating strategic decision-making and operational continuity.
