Overview:

We’re hiring an Inventory Supply Planner to join a high-impact global operations team at a leading consumer electronics company known for its iconic smartphones. This role is ideal for someone with broad supply planning experience across multiple stakeholders, geographies, and product types—including seasonal product cycles. You’ll play a key role in ensuring supply alignment across regions, managing vendor performance, and driving execution from planning through fulfillment in a fast-paced, highly cross-functional environment.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute weekly and monthly supply plans to meet both customer and business needs
  • Interface with contract manufacturers and regional planning teams (APAC, EMEA, Americas) to align on build readiness and material flow
  • Manage service supply planning, including handling demand fluctuations and adjusting supply strategies accordingly
  • Monitor and adjust safety stock, manage material and production planning, and create vendor-facing forecasts (not demand planning)
  • Lead pre-season planning, including product ramp-up readiness, SKU availability, and inventory targets
  • Use advanced Excel skills for analysis, reporting, and scenario planning
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with sourcing, logistics, manufacturing, and regional stakeholders to ensure timely execution and accurate inventory positioning

Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of hands-on supply planning experience in a manufacturing, consumer electronics, retail, or high-volume environment
  • Strong background in material planning, production planning, and vendor management
  • Experience working with global contract manufacturers and suppliers
  • Proven ability to manage inventory/SKU complexity and seasonal volume fluctuations
  • Proficiency in Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, scenario modeling); ERP or planning system experience preferred (SAP, Oracle, etc.)
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and organizational skills
  • Any buying experience is a plus!

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience with SAP PD2 or other ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, etc.).
  • Background in service parts planning or retail supply chain environments.
