About the Role:
We’re looking for a Supply Chain Planner Analyst to join a high-impact team within a global leader in networking technology. This role is part of the Silicon Manufacturing Operations (SMO) group—a team responsible for delivering supply chain excellence in support of next-generation network infrastructure.
This is a data-heavy and process-driven position ideal for someone with broad experience across supply and production planning, inventory management, and cross-functional operations support. You’ll play a critical role in building and executing tactical supply plans, balancing supply and demand, and ensuring the right materials are available at the right time to meet global product needs.
Key Responsibilities:
- Supply Plan Development & Execution: Create and manage daily/weekly/monthly tactical supply plans, ensuring alignment with forecasted demand and manufacturing capacity.
- Demand-Supply Balancing: Identify and resolve gaps or excesses in supply, collaborating with demand planning and sales ops to respond to changes and market drivers.
- Inventory Management: Optimize inventory levels, minimize obsolescence, and ensure product availability in alignment with service level goals.
- Capacity Planning: Coordinate with suppliers and manufacturing sites to assess capacity, identify bottlenecks, and adjust plans accordingly.
- Master Data Management: Maintain and update planning parameters such as lead times, safety stock, and batch sizes in ERP and planning systems.
- Supplier Collaboration: Work closely with procurement and key suppliers to track material availability and monitor performance against delivery schedules.
- NPI Support: Develop initial supply plans and support material readiness and ramp-up activities for New Product Introductions.
- Risk Mitigation: Proactively identify supply risks and develop mitigation strategies. Escalate critical issues as needed.
- KPI Reporting: Track and report key metrics such as on-time delivery, inventory turns, and plan attainment. Drive continuous improvement.
- Scenario Planning: Conduct what-if analyses to assess the impact of demand shifts or supply chain disruptions.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Partner with teams in manufacturing, sourcing, logistics, demand planning, engineering, and finance.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in supply planning, production planning, or materials management, ideally in the manufacturing/semiconductor industry.
- Strong knowledge of supply chain planning principles, capacity planning, and inventory management.
- Proficiency in ERP systems (SAP, Oracle preferred) and advanced planning systems (APS a plus).
- Advanced Microsoft Excel skills for modeling, data analysis, and scenario planning.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Excellent communication and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple priorities and collaborate cross-functionally.
Preferred Qualifications:
- APICS certification (CPIM, CSCP) or other supply chain certifications
- Experience with statistical forecasting methods and scenario modeling
- Familiarity with Lean or Six Sigma methodologies
- Background in semiconductor supply chains
About the Team:
You’ll be joining a startup-style team within a stable, global corporation, supporting a programmable silicon platform that powers the future of internet infrastructure. The team is deeply integrated with R&D, engineering, and operations, and plays a critical role in supporting the development and delivery of modular, scalable, and power-efficient network hardware designed for both service providers and web-scale environments.
