IT Support Analyst – TSG Corporate – Raleigh, NC (Remote)

The Select Group is hiring an IT Support Analyst in Raleigh, NC (remote with occasional local travel). This person will be responsible for delivering responsive Tier 2 support to ensure efficient issue resolution, consistent service delivery, and a high-quality end-user experience across the organization.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Deliver responsive Tier 2 support for endpoint devices and Microsoft 365 services including troubleshooting hardware and application issues, managing service requests, and ensuring optimal user performance across the organization.  Proactively manage outstanding tickets, prioritizing highest impact tickets for resolution with input from Supervisor, achieve service level expectations and minimize overall resolution times. 
  • Deliver best in class user experience and a solutions mind-set, including explaining to each user the solutions steps you intend to attempt, receiving permission to proceed on those steps, taking feedback and verifying that the issue has been satisfactorily resolved.  If not, escalate to find other solutions that meet user expectations.   Ensure all hardware delivered meets our standards for excellence. 
  • Create and maintain consistent IT documentation and end-user guides (SOPs) to standardize processes, improve service delivery, and support user enablement across the organization.  Follow SOPs consistently and with a high attention to detail.    
  • Proactively manage assigned tasks and due dates in team task management tool, completing assigned tasks in a timely and thorough manner. 
 Additional Responsibilities: 
  • Maintain up-to-date records of hardware, software, and licensing assets. 
  • Assign users and devices to appropriate groups in Active Directory and perform basic user and group management tasks in Microsoft Entra ID (formerly Azure AD). 
  • Manage Exchange Online mailboxes, permissions, and user access issues. 
  • Administer SharePoint site permissions and assist with access-related support. 
  • Support user access, device enrollment, and basic network connectivity. 
  • Participate in compliance and auditing projects, including evidence gathering, reporting, and verification. 
  • Perform routine maintenance and manage IT inventory to support operational readiness. 
Key Qualifications:
  • 3 years of relevant technical experience.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills with the ability to communicate effectively and work as a team player. 
  • Accountable, motivated, self-reliant. 
  • Works well under pressure. 
  • Strong Windows OS experience, MS O365. 
  • Demonstrated proficiency with computer hardware and peripherals. 
  • Knowledge of basic networking principles. 
  • Experience with Entra ID, Exchange Online, SharePoint administration, and Hybrid AD environments is a plus.
