Job Details
Role Title: Clinical Informaticist
Project Overview:
The ideal candidate will play a key role in ensuring providers are effectively configured within Epic and supported during their transition into clinical workflows. This individual will also contribute to broader clinical initiatives and provide hands-on support to care teams in real-time environments.
Daily Responsibilities

Support onboarding of new providers, including Epic customization and setup

Provide at-the-elbow support for providers during initial days in clinic and inpatient settings

Assist with Epic workflow optimization across inpatient and ambulatory environments

Round with providers, nurses, and other clinicians to assess needs and provide support

Participate in clinical initiatives aimed at improving workflow efficiency and user adoption

Serve as a liaison between clinical staff and IT/Epic teams
Required Qualifications
-
Strong experience with Epic, specifically:
-
Inpatient provider workflows
-
Nursing workflows
-
Ambulatory workflows
-
Ability to support provider onboarding and workflow customization
-
Experience working directly with clinicians in a healthcare setting

Strong communication skills and ability to provide hands-on, in-person support
Nice to have Qualifications
-
Experience with Epic Behavioral Health module
-
Experience with Epic OpTime
-
Clinical background (RN, clinician, respiratory therapist, rad tech or similar)
