Overview
Our client is seeking an experienced Product Manager to support customer-facing experiences within their online store and mobile app. This role focuses on developing, launching, and optimizing integrated mobile carrier offers—ensuring customers have a clear, intuitive experience when interacting with carrier plans, promotions, and trade-in opportunities.
You will work cross-functionally with Engineering, Design, Carrier partners, Legal, and other key teams to define requirements, improve user journeys, and deliver polished, high-quality digital experiences.
Responsibilities
- Lead the creation of product requirements, including PRDs, BRDs, customer experience documentation, user journeys, and carrier-specific requirements.
- Partner closely with Engineering and Design teams to gather feedback, validate feasibility, and refine product direction.
- Support front-end product design efforts by providing clear guidance on customer experience, UI behavior, and content needs.
- Collaborate with cross-functional stakeholders including Copywriting, Carrier/Client teams, Legal, Merchandising, Privacy, SEO, and Accessibility.
- Participate in testing and validation of new features and carrier integrations.
- Provide clear and consistent updates and launch readiness communication to internal teams.
- Evaluate multiple solution paths, weigh pros and cons, and recommend the best approach based on customer experience and business objectives.
- Manage ambiguity effectively and help align teams on strategy, scope, and timelines.
Required Qualifications
- Experience working with mobile carriers (e.g., AT&T, Verizon, T-Mobile)
- 7+ years of Product Management experience within a large, enterprise environment.
- Proven experience writing PRDs, BRDs, functional specs, and detailed user journeys.
- Strong background in building customer-facing eCommerce products and capabilities.
- Sharp sense of UI/UX, interaction design, and customer experience best practices.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to present to leadership.
- Demonstrated success working with cross-functional teams across Engineering, Design, Legal, Content, and Marketing.
- Analytical thinker with the ability to dissect complex problems and drive clarity.
- Strong attention to detail and the ability to deliver polished customer experiences.
Preferred Qualifications
- Familiarity with Keynote.
- Experience supporting products with heavy front-end design or UI/UX components.
Education
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Equivalent professional experience considered in lieu of a degree.
