TSG - MDM Support - Senior Business Data
Analyst
Role Overview
Our client is seeking a Business/Data Analyst with a strong blend of business acumen and technical data skills to support their Master Data Management (MDM) initiative. This individual will work closely with the client’s Data Product team to establish data rules, protocols, and processes that enable a single customer view across ~70,000 global employer customers.
The role requires someone who can bridge business understanding with hands-on technical execution, ensuring that existing MDM tools and data cleansing processes are leveraged effectively. This is an execution-focused role (not product ownership), working alongside technical resources and business stakeholders to deliver actionable, high-quality data outputs.
Key Responsibilities
• Partner with OUR CLIENT Health’s Data Product team to define and implement data
rules and governance protocols that support a unified customer view.
• Work hands-on with data cleansing, standardization, and matching processes using OUR
CLIENT’s existing MDM tools.
• Execute data analysis and transformation tasks in BigQuery, Oracle, and SQL
environments.
• Collaborate with technical teams to validate outputs and ensure consistency with
business objectives.
• Manage and interpret outputs from existing MDM platforms (TBS) and prepare them for
business consumption.
• Engage confidently with stakeholders across technical and business teams, providing
clear insights and status updates.
• Support interim MDM initiatives ahead of full MDM rollout, creating a parallel data
abstraction layer to accelerate delivery.
Required Skills & Experience
• Strong data analysis and business analysis background with proven ability to work
across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Hands-on experience with BigQuery, Oracle, and SQL (BitQuery exposure is a plus).
• Demonstrated ability to perform data cleansing, transformation, and standardization.
• Ability to connect data quality and structure to business outcomes (customer view,
reporting accuracy, data governance).
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills; comfortable presenting to
both executives and technical teams.
• Experience with Master Data Management (MDM) concepts preferred (hands-on MDM
experience not mandatory).
• Exposure to Unimatic or similar tools is an asset.
