Manufacturing Test Engineer
The Select Group is looking for a Manufacturing Test Engineer to support an American multinational technology company that specializes in e-commerce, cloud computing and much more.
Responsibilities
- Work closely with Software Developers and Hardware Development Engineers to design and validate solutions for our hardware platforms.
- Have an understanding of hardware development life cycle and project planning/execution skills including estimating and scheduling. Be able to take requirements and turn them into solutions.
- Develop automation frameworks and test tools; Write scripts to automate tests.
- Develop firmware/scripts/applications to test the hardware.
- Work concurrently with the design engineers to provide design for testability (DFT) feedback throughout the design process.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or a related field.
- 5+ years professional experience in hardware development/validation/test. This includes proven experience with defining, developing and implementing manufacturing test strategy for new products.
- Experience with test automation with background in scripting.
- 5+ years of Linux and Python experience.
- Experience in failure analysis and troubleshooting skills in a laboratory environment.
- Proven track record of developing validation test software tools for products from concept through production.
- Experience with EE fundamentals.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with International CM Partners and ability to support domestic CMs on-site.
- Experience with reviewing hardware designs to define test coverage to ensure products are built free of manufacturing defects.
- Understanding of design for scalability, performance and reliability.
- Experience in working with cross-functional teams and partnering closely with electronics engineers to deliver fully integrated real-world solutions.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to generate and communicate meaningful development metrics.

Hourly Pay Range for this position: $67.00 - $74.00
