Project Details:  
We are seeking a  GCP Data Architect with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and a proven track record in data migrations. The ideal candidate will possess strong architectural skills in designing and optimizing data pipelines, as well as hands-on engineering capabilities to support data platform modernization. 

This role requires a combination of data architecture design, engineering best practices, and BI platform expertise, particularly in enabling seamless transitions to GCP-based data ecosystems.
 
Must Have Skills: 

• 7+ years of experience in data engineering and data architecture roles. 
• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) data services including BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud Composer. 
• Hands-on experience migrating data from Domo to GCP/Tableau, or similar BI/data platforms. 
• Strong proficiency in SQL, Python, and data modeling for analytics workloads. 
• Deep understanding of data pipeline orchestration and workflow automation using tools like Apache Airflow. 
• Experience in data governance, data security, and compliance within cloud environments. 
• Familiarity with Tableau integration with GCP data sources. 

• GCP Professional Data Engineer or Architect certification. 
• Experience with Looker, Power BI, or other visualization tools alongside Tableau. 
• Familiarity with data lakehouse architectures. 
• Exposure to Terraform, CI/CD for data pipelines, and infrastructure as code. 

• Architect and implement scalable GCP data solutions to support enterprise BI and analytics needs. 
• Lead the migration of data platforms and pipelines from Domo to GCP, enabling downstream Tableau visualizations. 
• Design and optimize ETL/ELT processes using GCP services like BigQuery, Dataflow, Pub/Sub, Cloud Composer (Airflow). 
• Collaborate with data analysts, visualization teams, and business stakeholders to define data models and requirements. 
• Ensure data integrity, governance, and security throughout the migration and integration process. 
• Implement best practices for data architecture, data lake / warehouse design, and performance optimization in GCP. 
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams on GCP data engineering patterns. 
• Develop and maintain comprehensive documentation on data architectures, pipelines, and transformations. 
• Troubleshoot and resolve data pipeline and platform issues as they arise.
