Desktop Support Technician - ONSITE (Chapel Hill, NC)
The Select Group is hiring a Desktop Support Technician to join the team at one of our healthcare clients who is need of help desk contractors to support their surgical tower in Chapel Hill post go-live.
The customer is a large health system located in North Carolina.  Someone joining this team as a desktop technician consultant will be responsible for going into the newly opened surgical tower to help work on and deploy workstations, monitors, printers, labels, etc.  This consultant will work with many other consultants, as well as full time employees to get hardware up and running.

Must Have Skills:

• 2-3 years of relevant experience
• Technical hardware knowledge
• Experience with printers, workstations, barcode labels, monitors, etc.
• Troubleshooting
• Connecting workstations/devices to printers

Nice to Have Skills:
Windows 10 experience 
Hospital experience with Epic GoLive/ Technical Dress Rehearsal 

Location: This position is onsite in Chapel Hill, NC. 

Day to Day:
Regular hours 8:00-5:00 PM EST

Job Responsibilities:

• Deploy workstations, monitors, printers, labels, etc. 
• Switch out old workstations for new workstations
• Troubleshoot Windows 10 for each new workstation placed

Onboarding:

• Standard 10 Panel Drug Test
• 7 year background check
• Immunization records (Flu,TDAP, TB, MMR, Varicella, Hep B), covid vaccination
