Senior Business Intelligence and Data Analyst – TSG Corporate - Remote
The Select Group is hiring a Senior Business Intelligence and Data Analyst. This person will report directly to the Senior Manager of Business Intelligence and Data Analysis and supports the Business Analysis, Business Intelligence, Data analysis, AI enablement and development of the company.

Key Responsibilities
- Business Acumen & Insight: Understands financial and operational drivers; supports root cause analysis and proactively identifies trends using data, experience, and Gen AI.
- Reporting & Visualization: Builds and maintains Power BI dashboards and advanced Excel reports using data from core systems; skilled in DAX, Power Query, and visualization best practices.
- Data Infrastructure: Designs scalable ETL processes and integrations using Azure Data Factory, Python, and Gen AI to improve efficiency and reliability.
- Data Initiatives & Operations: Collaborates on AI applications, system integrations, and ingestion pipelines; ensures clean, contextualized datasets to support BI and AI use cases.
- Database & Automation: Writes complex SQL queries, supports data flow automation, and recommends system integrations to enhance reporting accuracy and scalability.
- Data Governance & Quality: Monitors data quality, ensures effective data warehousing, and partners on solutions to improve model and reporting performance.
- Leadership Support: Prepares insights for business reviews, evaluates tools/tech, and identifies opportunities for AI, automation, and process improvements.
- Operational Excellence: Manages tasks and support tickets with ownership and timeliness, documents processes, and delivers ad hoc analysis with a strong customer focus.
Key Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree with a GPA of 3.6 or higher.
- 5+ years of experience in business intelligence and analysis with a strong track record of driving insights and challenging the status quo through adaptive, critical thinking.
- 2+ years in professional services or IT consulting with a solid grasp of business drivers, KPIs, and industry benchmarks.
- 4+ years of hands-on SQL experience with ability to extract, transform, and analyze complex datasets.
- 1+ year of experience working with Generative AI, ideally with agentic AI and Azure AI Foundry.
- Proficient in behavioral interviewing and uncovering business needs through thoughtful, analytical questioning.
- Technical proficiency in Azure Data Factory, Cognos, Power Automate, Azure SQL Server, Power BI, and API development (Python, JavaScript).
- Demonstrates core TSG cultural competencies including adaptive thinking, influence, problem solving, a strong service mindset, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
- Experience in sales operations is a plus.
