DIGITAL DATA ANALYTICS ANALYST
The Select Group is currently searching for a Data Analytics Engineer to join one of our clients within the Telecommunications industry that will be local to Atlanta, GA working off a hybrid schedule (2 days onsite and 3 days remote). This Consultant will be working in the Digital Analytics - Sales/Marketing Analytics department and will be responsible for a variety of initiatives focusing on improving customer engagements through customer behavior analytics. Improving customer journeys of sales/marketing campaigns will be done by gathering/ingesting behavioral data in Adobe Analytics and modifying existing, or creating new dashboards that best show insights opportunities within the customer journey. Once the data modified as needed, this Analyst will then utilize visualization tools such as Tableau to report on the teams findings to better make recommendations on next steps for the marketing teams. DATA ANALYTICS ENGINEER REQUIREMENTS:
- Intermediate level experience using Tableau and Adobe Analytics (used to model web behavior, not customer segmentation)
- Segment creation in Adobe is done via filters (e.g., authenticated vs. unauthenticated users)
- Adobe is mostly used for tracking traffic and reporting, not deep analytics
- Intermediate-Advanced SQL (including CTEs, window functions, joins, aggregations)
- Experience working with AWS services (especially S3, Glue, Athena)
- Experience with APIs (calling Adobe data)
- Experience with dashboard creation and data interpretation
- Familiarity with Jira and Agile sprint processes
- Understanding of data pipelines and the limitations of Adobe vs. AWS analytics stack
NICE TO HAVE SKILLS:- Previous experience in the Telecommunications industry
- Knowledge/Experience with (AWS) Amazon Web Services Cloud Platform
DATA ANALYTICS ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES:- Partner with customer experience departments/stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical action items
- Utilize Adobe Analytics as a tool to Analyze digital products performances specifically around sales and marketing campaigns and the success/failures of the target markets engagement with certain campaigns
- Develop key metrics to track to present to the business that will help to drive business decisions
- Join and collaborate in stand-ups meetings, giving insights from a data insight perspective
- Create and maintain dashboards in Adobe Analytics and share with stakeholders as needed
- Create visualizations and in depth reports in Tableau to present to different teams that are using data to drive business initiatives
- AWS Glue Job Management
- Identify and resolve job errors
- Debug logs and trace failures
- Understand Adobe API ingestion framework and S3 structures
- Know how Glue, Athena, and table partitions interact
- Data Inconsistency Triaging
- Trace mismatches across Tableau, Athena, and Glue outputs
- Perform root cause analysis and liaise with appropriate teams
