Sr Fortinet Engineer - Ashburn, VA.

Project Details:
In this role you will be instrumental in testing new Fortinet technology being adopted by the client and its government customer. Your work will be crucial to ensuring customers enjoy a seamless, stable, and reliable home internet experience. This is a unique opportunity to not only work side-by-side with one of the largest telecom companies in the world, but also to gain valuable experience in a wide range of skills. This is a hybrid role that will be required to work onsite in Ashburn, VA. 2 days out of the week.


Qualifications for Consideration:

• Current Public Trust clearance or the ability to obtain a Public Trust
• 8+ years of experience with Fortinet Technology
  • Fortigate, Fortimanager, Fortianalyzer
  • Physical and virtual equipment
  • Firewalls 

• Strong networking foundation
  • IPSEC and BGP specifically 

• Working with planning teams 
• Taking requirements from planning 
• Developing test cases 
• Running through and executing test cases 
• Developing and certifying designs
• Implementing/Testing Fortinet upgrades
• Develop MOP/SOP 
• Work with Ops to validate MOP/SOP
