Overview:
TSG is seeking a WIFI Engineer to join a Customer Provided Equipment Wi-Fi Development team in the Englewood, CO office. The ideal candidate will be a skilled, Wi-Fi Network Engineer with experience creating repeatable test cases and someone who is motivated to help us improve processes and create best standards within the lab.
Required Skills:
Technical Skills:
- 2-3+ years with Wi-Fi Experience, or related experience working with hardware in a lab/testing environment
- Experienced with testing equipment and test methodologies
- Experience with 802.11 standard
- Basic Networking Skills (Network +)
- Strong Troubleshooting skills (logic, flow, and attention to detail)
- Experience with Linux and/or Command Line functions
Nice To Have Skills:
- Experience working with any MSO, Chipset Provider or Wi-Fi Vendor
- Experience with the following testing tools: Ixia, Spirent, Octobox and Rohde & Schwarz
- Experience with Conducted and Over the Air Topologies
- Education: Bachelor's Degree preferred or equivalent professional experience
- Certification: CWNA, CWS
- Python (for assistance in handover to automation team, ad-hoc proof of concept scripts)

The Select Group is currently hiring for a Lab Network Engineer II to join as a resource for one of our clients within the Telecommunications industry that will be working a hybrid schedule sitting in Fort Worth, TX. This Engineer will be joining a team of 7 total that all have the same goal, to full-fill customer requests for networking equipment and services. This team of 6 Network Engineer II's and 1 Team Lead will be functioning inside of a lab or centralized warehouse where they will be responsible for checking out, setting up/staging, and testing networking equipment before approving to be sent directly to customers. This role is essential in ensuring reliability and quality to customers by identifying core issues and resolving before customers experience these issues first hand. LAB NETWORK ENGINEER II REQUIREMENTS:
- 2-5 years of professional Network Engineering/Technician/Support experience. Must possess physical hands on expertise with a variety of networking devices such as modems, routers, switches, cables, servers etc.
- Hands on experience troubleshooting or installing Cisco product specifically Cisco UCS C-Series Servers series M2, and M4 products
- Must possesses an expertise with Cisco Meraki products and services as well
- Previous exposure to a variety of vendor devices such as Ciena, Nokia, Juniper, and ADVA/ADTRAN equipment used for Cisco's services
- IT support/technician/networking experience hands on with networking equipment (rack and stack, lab set ups, staging, testing, etc.)
PLUS SKILLS:
- Telecommunications industry experience. Understanding of how telecom connections interact with physical vendor devices
- Jira experience previously used to receiving and tracking ticket requests. Staging or installation tickets for networking equipment preferably
LAB NETWORK ENGINEER II RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Received and review Jira tickets sent to the team usually structured as BOM's - Bill of Material's which is a list of parts needed for a particular customer"
- Check-out parts from the supply chain team to use for the lab set-up
- Design and set up the equipment physically in a Lab/Warehouse environment. as well as backend configurations and network protocols based on the customer asks
- Load configurations and protocols into the physical network devices before testing
- 24 hour "burn on" period to see how the network is performing and monitoring to identify areas to troubleshoot before confirming a shipment
- Sign-off an verify the testing meets business standards before packaging for shipment to customer sites in a variety of geographical locations (nation-wide)

Data Center Network Engineer (Hybrid; Chicago, IL)
The Select Group is seeking a Data Center Network Engineer to join our client’s Infrastructure Network team supporting global data centers, teleports, and lab environments. In this role, you will lead and contribute to projects that challenge your expertise in routing, switching, security, VoIP, multimedia services, and inflight entertainment systems. This role requires the engineer to be onsite in the Chicago, IL area three days per week, with the flexibility to work remotely two days per week.
Data Center Network Engineer Qualifications:
- Due to the nature of the work and access to controlled information, U.S. citizenship is required for this position.
- Willingness to travel up to 20%, including extended international assignments (e.g., 2-week data center deployments).
- 5+ years of experience in large-scale, complex data center environments.
- Strong hands-on experience with Cisco and Juniper network hardware, including initial configuration of devices.
- Proficiency in routing and switching protocols: OSPF, BGP, RIPv2, MPLS, PBR, HSRP, VRRP, and GLBP.
- Solid understanding of wireless networking and network security protocols (TACACS, RADIUS, VPNs).
- Experience with network equipment such as Cisco Nexus (e.g., Nexus 2K), Catalyst 3650/3850, ASA, IPS, and ASR 1001-HX routers.
- Experience with Linux operating systems (preferred).
- Strong troubleshooting skills, including packet tracing and debugging.
Key Responsibilities:

The Select Group is currently searching for a Data Analytics Engineer to join one of our clients within the Telecommunications industry that will be local to Atlanta, GA working off a hybrid schedule (2 days onsite and 3 days remote). This Consultant will be working in the Digital Analytics - Sales/Marketing Analytics department and will be responsible for a variety of initiatives focusing on improving customer engagements through customer behavior analytics. Improving customer journeys of sales/marketing campaigns will be done by gathering/ingesting behavioral data in Adobe Analytics and modifying existing, or creating new dashboards that best show insights opportunities within the customer journey. Once the data modified as needed, this Analyst will then utilize visualization tools such as Tableau to report on the teams findings to better make recommendations on next steps for the marketing teams. DATA ANALYTICS ENGINEER REQUIREMENTS:
- Intermediate level experience using Tableau and Adobe Analytics (used to model web behavior, not customer segmentation)
- Segment creation in Adobe is done via filters (e.g., authenticated vs. unauthenticated users)

Must Have Skills:
