Community

We reside in, work with, and embrace our community. The Select Group spends time, energy, and resources giving back to a variety of community involvement and service efforts. We believe in the greater good.

Organizations We've Helped

We are always seeking new opportunities to reach out and enrich our community. We have had the privilege of working and volunteering with generous and life-altering organizations.

How We Help Communities

Our Volunteer teams at The Select Group are eager to lace up their shoes to walk and run for a great cause or to spend time during the holidays, serving those in need.

Community Involvement

Our teams of volunteers have worked with Miracle League to help children with special needs play baseball, packaged food at one of the largest food banks in the US, volunteered at women’s shelters, and held blood drives at our company headquarters.
We’ve worked up a good sweat alongside Habitat for Humanity. We’ve cooked dinner and served the guests of the God’s Helper Soup Kitchen in Raleigh, NC. Our favorite moment: granting a wish for the Make-A-Wish Foundation that included spending a day with the Carolina Hurricanes and getting in the cockpit for a ride along at the Charlotte Motor Speedway.

Spreading Holiday Cheer

Our hearts are full when we take the time every year to serve needy families in our community during the holidays. Not only do we get to meet new people and enjoy the fellowship of our neighbors, we find personal fulfillment in striving for the greater good.

To make the biggest impact to our local communities, we gave each of our local teams $1,500 for a charity of their choosing. Overall, The Select Group gave more than $21,000 to local charities this holiday season through the Gift of Giving 2017 program – driven by our purpose to impact lives, one positive experience at a time.

Run for the Roses - A Kentucky Derby Fundraiser

The Select Group (TSG), in coordination with the Jimmy V Foundation, hosted a Kentucky Derby-themed party to raise money for cancer research and to support the family of Quincy Monk – a former TSG employee who passed away from cancer.

Not only was the derby a blast, but we raised $52,000 with a generous matching donation from our CEO and Founder, Sheldon Wolitski.

"During the holidays we were able to positively impact hundreds of lives in our communities, and we continue to do so every day throughout the year. I am incredibly grateful to be a part of a company that puts such a strong emphasis on positively impacting people’s lives and giving back to the community!”
