We believe in the greater good.
That means we act in the best interest of our community, while helping individuals and companies grow. The Select Group donates time and resources to a variety of community involvement and service efforts.
The Select Group recently granted the wish of Michael, a 16 year old from Rolesville, NC who is suffering from cystic fibrosis. With the help of our clients, supporters and friends, we were able to raise over $2,000 and send him on an experience of a lifetime – spending a day with the Carolina Hurricanes and going on a ride along at the Charlotte Motor Speedway!
UNC Children's Hospital
The Select Group has a history of involvement with the UNC Children's Hospital. In addition to financial contributions, we collect toy donations from our internal staff, clients and consultants during the holiday season. In early 2011, we provided iPods, iTunes gift cards and iPod docking stations to the hospital for the patients. Most recently, we helped create a music library within the hospital which has been named “The Select Group Music Library.” The music library was built to make musical devices more accessible to those staying in the hospital as well as provide a system so patients can check out iPods and other instruments to help make their stay more enjoyable. We have greatly enjoyed working with the hospital and look forward to a continued partnership in the years to come!
