SR. AUTOMATION CONTROLS ENGINEER | NEWARK, CA
We are seeking a Sr. Automation Controls Engineer to lead the upgrade of approximately 87 PC-based systems from Windows 7/10 to Windows 11 IoT LTSC across two sites. This role centers on software compatibility, system validation, and ensuring all machine-level applications operate correctly after migration. Work is performed on-site in Newark, CA, with system implementation at the Lodi, CA manufacturing facility.

SR. AUTOMATION CONTROLS ENGINEER REQUIREMENTS
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field and 7+ years of automation or controls experience.
  • In-depth knowledge of PLC programming and development using Rockwell RSLogix 5000.
  • Expertise in HMIs using FactoryTalk View ME (Revs 7–14).
  • Hands-on experience with Cognex Designer Vision-Pro, including deep and edge learning tools.
  • Experience with high-speed medical manufacturing equipment, motion control, servo systems, pneumatics, and robotics.
Bonus Skills
  • Demonstrated experience executing IQ/OQ in FDA-regulated or GMP environments.
  • Familiarity with SPEL+, Epson programming, and related automation tools.

SR. AUTOMATION CONTROLS ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Upgrade PC-based systems from Windows 7/10 to Windows 11 IoT LTSC across multiple OS revisions.
  • Validate and document functionality of all applications post-upgrade, including Rockwell FactoryTalk View ME, Cognex Designer Vision-Pro, SPEL+, Epson programming, and data acquisition systems.
  • Perform detailed testing at the Newark site, including screen-by-screen checks and device connections.
  • Ensure databases, interfaces, and automated processes remain functional and compliant after upgrade.
  • Deploy upgraded systems in a manufacturing environment.
  • Execute Installational and Operational Qualification (IQ/OQ) protocols in alignment with FDA and GMP requirements.

This person will provide structured coordination, high level documentation, and support for projects that require both project management and business analysis focus. The role supports the Customer Operations transformation roadmap, ensuring consistency in tracking and high-level requirements documentation. This role will be fully onsite for the first 30 days during ramp/training before switching to a 4/1 hybrid schedule

PM / BA REQUIREMENTS

Overview

We’re seeking a Product Operations Manager with strong analytical depth to evaluate and optimize the suite of applications that power a large-scale Retail Contact Center (RCC). This person will dig into the data behind how tools perform, assess their productivity impact, validate user behavior, and recommend improvements that enhance speed, quality, and automation across the organization.

Key Responsibilities

  • Analyze performance of all applications and platforms used by the Retail Contact Center.
  • Validate SQL queries, user activity, and operational metrics to ensure data accuracy.
  • Conduct deep-dive analytics to quantify the value and ROI of new product features.

The ideal candidate is polished in communication, highly organized, and experienced managing multiple projects simultaneously, including scheduling, tracking, and reporting. This person will partner across internal teams and with external vendors, leveraging strong Excel, Smartsheet, and Microsoft 365/Azure (Cloud environment) experience to keep enterprise workstreams on track. This is an onsite role local to Longwood, FL.

PROJECT COORDINATOR QUALIFICATIONS:
  • 3–5 years of experience in Project Coordination/Administration
