Manufacturing Test Engineer (Python / Linux)
Location: Santa Clara, CA (Fully Onsite)
Duration: 6+ months (potential for extension or conversion)
Position Overview:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Test Engineer (Python / Linux) (SDET) to support production validation of networking hardware systems. This role is responsible for developing, maintaining, and troubleshooting automated test solutions used on the manufacturing line to ensure product quality and reliability before shipment to customers. The ideal candidate has experience working in manufacturing or production test environments and is comfortable debugging system-level failures across hardware, software, and test infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain automated manufacturing test scripts (primarily Python-based)
- Investigate and resolve test failures originating from factory test stations
- Determine root cause of failures across hardware, software, test scripts, or operator setup
- Analyze logs, test data, and system outputs in Linux-based environments
- Support new product introductions (NPI) into mass production
- Improve test coverage, reduce false failures, and enhance production throughput
- Collaborate with hardware, firmware, software, and manufacturing engineering teams
- Work closely with contract manufacturers and global production teams to resolve issues in real time
- Document test procedures, debug steps, and corrective actions
Required Qualifications:
- 1–3 years of experience in manufacturing test, production test, or factory test environments
- Strong programming skills in Python for test automation
- Experience working in Linux/Unix environments
- Experience investigating and resolving failures from manufacturing or production test stations
- Strong system-level debugging and root cause analysis skills (hardware vs. software vs. test infrastructure)
- Familiarity with networking fundamentals and remote system access (SSH)
- Experience analyzing logs and validating test data (SQL preferred)
- Ability to work fully onsite in Santa Clara, CA
Industry Background:
- Experience in networking hardware, data center equipment, servers, storage systems, or embedded hardware environments
- Background in semiconductor, electronics, or high-volume hardware manufacturing environments
- Experience working with contract manufacturers or supporting global production operations
- Exposure to new product introduction (NPI) into mass production
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience supporting high-volume manufacturing environments

This role will focus on implementing and supporting Epic ClinDoc and Behavioral Health workflows that enhance patient safety, interdisciplinary collaboration, and accurate patient belonging tracking.
EPIC CLINDOC/BEHAVIORAL HEALTH CONSULTANT REQUIREMENTS
- Active Epic certification in ClinDoc and Orders
- Hands-on build experience in both Epic ClinDoc and Orders
- Strong understanding of Behavioral Health clinical workflows, including patient safety protocols, observation levels, and interdisciplinary care models.
- Experience configuring patient belonging tracking and safety-related documentation workflows in Epic.
- Proven experience collaborating with providers, nursing, and multidisciplinary care teams.

The Select Group is hiring a Project Controls Specialist to support a Fortune 5 hyperscaler and technology company. This is a long-term, fully remote engagement operating on EST hours.
This role supports a fast-paced, execution-focused team responsible for the pre-construction development of data center utilities, including due diligence, risk management, utilities agreements, contract negotiation, and budget forecasting. The Project Controls Specialist will oversee the commercial and financial aspects of large-scale infrastructure and construction initiatives, partnering closely with project managers to ensure financial accuracy and successful delivery. The consultant is expected to quickly become a trusted member of the NASA (North and South America) Project Controls team, with a strong emphasis on data integrity and reporting accuracy.
Must Have Skills:
- 8 - 12 years of Project Controller experience within the construction industry
- Experience supporting the cost controls of infrastructure, utility, and/or construction projects
- Ideally comes from a large-scale construction GC or utilities company
