Backstory
Rural bandwidth continues to see a spike in demand as the market makes space for remote work, Wireless Everything, and access to 5G. A regional optical transport company was building and deploying fast, highly secure, and reliable bandwidth – like ones that urban metros typically see – but needed cell site installation expertise throughout a large, geographically diverse state.
Solution
TSG spearheaded a successful field install solution that was responsible for turning up 110 fiber huts/cell sites across the state. This provided the fiber to tower connection that enabled the lighting of their client’s 5G network, and the subsequent high-speed experiences– such as IoT– that wireless connectivity enables. TSG’s flexible model and the project’s unique requirements allowed for a per-location pricing approach, providing the flexibility and cost optimization that enabled the on-time installation.
