Wireless Technical Consulting Engineer – Remote
One of The Select Group’s clients is looking for a Wireless TCE to be the sole representative for the client’s customers regarding Wireless technologies. It is a fully remote, long-term contract opportunity with a great client.

Must Have Skills:

• Sole US Citizen
• Troubleshooting/supporting: Wireless, Wireless LAN Controller, AireOS 8.x and later, and/or CAT9800 running IOS-XE
• Troubleshooting Wireless LAN Controllers (WLC), Access Points (AP)
• Troubleshooting Authentication/Encryption Protocols
• Knowledge of 802.11 standards
• Experience with packet captures tools
• Infrastructure, MSEPrime Infrastructure
• Enterprise Engineers
• Resolution leader, problem-solving, troubleshooting methodology
• Communication & Facilitation, Listening & Affirmation, Influence & Persuasion, Public speaking & Presentation, Coaching skills
• A team player focused on customer success

Day to Day:

• Que time
• Back log time
• Accepting cases, working cases, closing cases.
• Customer support and ability to calm the customer and build a trust, as trusted advisor within these technologies.
• Customers call when things are broken.
• Must have the ability to communicate and be calm under pressure, ability to dive into things.
• Need to jump into things that could be challenging.
