WIRELESS ENGINEER

The Select Group is currently looking for a Wireless Engineer to join one of their TOP Communication clients in Denver! The Select Group’s client is seeking a Wireless Engineer for a greenfield opportunity to build out their entire 5G Network from the ground up!

WIRELESS ENGINEER REQUIREMENTS:

• Hands-on OSS experience
  • service assurance
  • performance management
  • configuration management
• Network/RF Optimization experience
• 4G Experience
• Development or Hands-on experience with any of the following OSS tools: NetAct from Nokia, Airspan has ACP, Nextgen has Nethvie, Samsung, Huawei, Ericsson has their own tool etc.
• Development or Hands-on experience with any of the following Data collection tools: nemo, windcatcher, JDSU, windcatcher, X-CAL, X-Cap, Wireshark, iPerf, etc.

WIRELESS ENGINEER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Testing, validation and documentation of end-to-end OSS platform.
• Perform 5G NR Wireless network optimization, analyze drive tests, KPIs and provide recommendations for improvement of network performance
• Responsible for deployment of 5G NR network.
• Assist in architecture and integration of various tools with end-to-end OSS platform
• Working with other teams to identify other problems or pain points
• Automating processes & developing processes
• Developing plans & use cases for Network optimization
• Helping with evaluations for site acceptance
• Evaluation and acceptance of 3rd party for SON by doing tests and pilots, and determining which one is the best
• Product development of wireless radios such as what products to choose, what chip set, and what antennae
• Work with OEM
