Position Title: Sr Program Manager x 2
Work Location: REMOTE – must work PST hours
- Huge plus if they are in Sunnyvale, CA (Bay Area)
- If in the Bay Area, they may go in office a couple days a month
- If REMOTE, travel once or twice a quarter (paid by Client)
Project Details: Our life sciences client is looking for Program Management professionals to come in and join their Ion Chromatography and Sample Preparation PMO division. This person will be responsible for managing multiple projects simultaneously and guiding/leading cross functional teams to successful project completion.
Must Have Skills:
- Minimum of 8+ years of related Program/Project Management work
- Types of projects applicable: life sciences (huge +), mechanical, electrical, R&D, NPI (new product introduction), sustaining
- Expertise within MS Project
- Experience working with cross functional teams and managing multiple projects at once
- Experience with managing financial aspects of projects – revenue, spend, ROI
- Great communication skills required – will be presenting to high level stakeholders regularly

- Ability to problem solve and create solutions
- Ability to work with and lead cross functional teams
- Servant leadership attitude
- Excellent communication skills – will be presenting to high level stakeholders
Nice to Have Skills:
- Exposure to chemistry, analytical chemistry, and diagnostics
Education and Certifications: Masters required in any science related discipline
Daily Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and negotiating product requirements and plans to determine time frames, resourcing and procedures for accomplishing key projects.
- Establish work plans for each project in accordance with the Design Control Procedure in coordination with key stakeholders, ie. Product Management, Marketing, Manufacturing along with R&D.
- Working with financial associates to establish and update project budgets and targeted product financials.
- Confer with project staff to outline work plans and to assign duties, responsibilities, and scope of authority.
- Coordination of activities of project personnel to ensure progress through development phases while addressing project schedule and product technical risks.
- Create and review status regular reports, assure deliverables are completed and provide phase exit reports for teams and management.
- Confer with project personnel to resolve problems.

- Team: Overall R&D Group 64 team members
- Travel involved: a couple times going onsite to Sunnyvale, CA per quarter. Paid for by Client
