SR. IT PROJECT MANAGER | REMOTE (EST)
The Select Group is looking for a talented Sr. IT PM to join one of our top healthcare partners, a mid-sized clinical research institute, who is looking to bring on a consultant to join a team of PMs who are working on a multitude of IT initiatives and prepare project plans/schedules while tracking project progress. This role may construct applications and participate in strategic and tactical planning and may participate in performance appraisals and hiring initiatives.
SR. IT PM REQUIREMENTS
- Demonstration of agile practices in service delivery
- Demonstration of healthcare BI and clinical research analytics release management
- Proven success in IT project management; experience managing IT projects across full SDLC
- Proven leadership experience and project management skills
- Understanding of object-oriented programming
- Knowledge of web architecture, application development, and security procedures
- Experience participating in system architecture design
- Ability to translate business process language into requirements and system design
- Mentor junior PM staff
- Experience in version management and change control discipline
- Able to provide reliable time estimates and handle multiple projects at one time
SR. IT PM RESPONSIBILITIES
* Managing releases in a regulated and compliant environment and follow agile methodology
* Managing risks and resolving challenges that impact release scope, quality, cost and timelines
* Planning releases across multiple windows and cycles with in a project and across projects
* Understanding technical and business constraints and dependencies
* Communicating release plans and changes to all the stakeholders and team members
* Independently manages all phases of systems development, including development planning,
requirements analysis, input to database design, coding, testing, implementation and documentation of applications
* Proactively identifies and facilitates opportunities to enhance the quality and cost-effectiveness of IT services across the organization
* Identifies gaps in core competencies and effectively use development strategies to build needed
knowledge, skills, and abilities within the group
* Delegates challenging assignments to employees to support professional development
* Solicits feedback, evaluates and monitors client or customer satisfaction to improve the quality of
services
* Understands system validation and documentation in a regulatory environment
