Sr. Technical Business Analyst (Durham, NC)
The Select Group is currently hiring for a Sr. Business Analyst to join the world’s leading learning Publishing company. In this role, the Business Analyst will work with a team that creates internal software utilized for creating and preparing the content launched on the client customer platforms. The current focus is on the Next Generation AI authoring Experience. Within this project, the individual will be focused on engaging with the business units and stakeholders to understand how these AI tools should be integrated and best used. This role will require the candidate to be onsite 3 days a week in Durham, NC.

Sr. Technical Business Analyst Requirements

• 5+ years of Business Analyst with experience in researching and recommending technology tools or solutions.
• Experienced gathering technical requirements, meeting with key Business Stakeholders, and guiding technical teams.
• Experienced in articulating business needs to technical teams.
• Experienced in documenting techno-functional processes/workflows
• Prioritization and evaluation reporting
• Familiarity or experience with Generative AI tools such as Open AI, Amazon Bedrock, ChatGPT, Google, StableFusion, Mid-Journey, etc. are considered a plus
• Experienced with Jira

Sr. Technical Business Analyst Responsibilities:

• Build strong, collaborative relationships with internal business partners, developing an understanding of Content Technology business processes and best practices. Identify opportunities to automate and make recommendations on business approaches and Generative AI solutions that increase value to our customers (both internal and external).
• Explore and research AI market leaders and emerging technologies in the generative AI and content technology space. Become a trusted advisor to the Content Technology Platforms function in recommending technologies that will address gaps, improve how we operate, and drive innovation.
• Lead requirements gathering activities, including facilitating workshops, focus groups, interviews, conference room pilots, etc. to gather and validate business needs.
• Translate input gathered into detailed business requirement documents, user journey maps, epics, user stories, systems interaction diagrams, etc. into technical requirements.
• Collaborate with Solution managers to ensure that security and architectural standards are met, and requirements meet the definition of “ready” prior to technical teams beginning estimation/implementation.
