Software Developer II

JAVA DEVELOPER – W2 or GC ONLY

The Select Group is currently hiring for a Software Developer that is an expert with Java language coding. The client is one of the largest Fortune 500 telecommunications in the United States and it will sit in Charlotte, NC or St. Louis, MO. This role will focus on creating a solution for the in house omni channel tool to create easier communication with customers so they can view monthly statements, receive service outages, and frequently asked questions through text, email, etc. If this is a role that you or someone you know would be interested in please apply today! JAVA DEVELOPER REQUIREMENTS:

• Software/Application development experience utilizing Java programming language
• Application development background within Amazon Web Services (AWS)
• Container deployment experience in recent roles; Dockers and Kubernetes
• Proficiency utilizing Spring with Springboot
• Migration experience is a big plus skillset (will be migrating from Java 8 to Java 10)
• IVR Systems experience on an enterprise level

JAVA DEVELOPER RESPONSIBILITIES:

• 70 to 80% of heads down development pushing project needs through coding
• Designing and developing a self-service model for the IVR System
• Assisting with a migration process from Java version 8 to Java 11
• Working within latest technologies to effectively create a solution for the in house omni channel tool
