SENIOR PYTHON DEVELOPER

One of The Select Group’s clients in the financial sector is looking for a Lead Senior Python Developer. This is a brand new Artificial Intelligence/ Machine Learning team and they are looking to revolutionize the banking industry by incorporating new technologies such as Amazon Alexa, Google Home and Facebook Messenger. The ideal candidate will be an experienced Python Developer with a background in automated testing and has worked with web frameworks such as Django or Flask. This team is located in uptown Charlotte, NC and is growing quickly so apply TODAY if you’re interested! Local candidates will be highly prioritized.

SENIOR PYTHON DEVELOPER REQUIREMENTS:

• 7-10 Years of Development Experience –HIGHLY prefer lead experience!
• Strong Python Development experience
• API development experience
• Restful Services Experience
• AWS experience
• Lambda functions
• Need to have worked in a TDD or BDD OR ATDD environments
• Familiar with CI/CD and Test-Driven Development concepts
• Django OR Flask Experience

SENIOR PYTHON DEVELOPER RESPONSIBILITIES:

The Lead Senior Python Developer will be responsible for developing code and API’s within Python. The developer will also be putting code into the cloud via AWS/Lambda functions and will be writing automation tools to test bots. Lastly, they will be working on various AI/machine learning projects for Alexa, GoogleHome, and Facebook Messenger.
