The Select Group is seeking a Project Manager with banking and payment processing experience for a new role with a top banking client. This is 100% remote on EST hours and will be contracted with potential to extend or convert to FTE. Please review the details below and apply today!

Job Summary:

• The Project Manager will be responsible for developing business cases, constructing project plans to implement solutions, (process improvements, systems, applications), and managing the implementations.
• The Project Manager can manage budgets which can exceed $1 million and are typically complex in nature and/or contain significant risk.
• This position will leverage in-depth business and technical knowledge to effectively manage projects with greater political implications and/or technology challenges.
• Typically, these projects involve cultural changes and/or implementing technologies that are brand new, (never done before), in the market place; i.e., the implementation work requires the PM to formulate unique strategies and contingency plans to ensure success of the project.

Required skills:

• 10 years’ experience as a Project Manager.
• Experience with large, enterprise level banks,
• Must have worked with payment processing systems – ideally working with the migration/transition to a new payment processing system.
• Experience managing multiple projects at once.
• Comfortable working with and presenting to executive level leadership.

Desired skills:

Ideal work experience –

• Experience with Lockbox payment processing system.
• Vision IP.
• Vision Remit.

Project Details:

• The bank is transitioning to Lockbox payment processing system.
• This system makes things faster by having bank staff deposit payments into customer accounts, and expedites the collection of paper-based payments and provides timely payment info to update the accounts receivable records.
• The Project Manager will develop and roll out improvement processes.
• There are two main projects, both are transitioning from old to new systems.
• There will also be some change management involved.
