The Role:
The Senior Applications Administrator will be primarily focused on our Bullhorn ecosystem but will also support other applications as needed. The Bullhorn ecosystem is a business-critical application, and we are seeking a highly motivated subject matter expert to lead us to the next level of overall ecosystem performance.
The Senior Applications Administrator will be responsible for the design, evolution, configuration, and day-to-day maintenance of the Bullhorn application and integrated applications. You will work with business leaders to define requirements, identify inefficiencies and performance gaps within the application and implement solutions. You will also be responsible for managing day-to-day technical issues within the systems to resolution and identifying and resolving root-causes.
How you’ll make an impact:
Our corporate IT organization is essential to our growth and success. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of industry practices, the front-end user interface and back-end database structure of Bullhorn, and experience with the major Bullhorn integrated applications. A team-orientation and customer-service approach are also important to success.
Responsibilities:
- Working with leadership on the overall ecosystem roadmap, identifying and delivering process improvements and optimizing application functionality for various teams within the organization including leading business process meetings to understand requirements and recommend solutions using the most efficient technology stack
- Translating functional requirements into technical requirements and vice versa working directly with third party teams to formulate and define implementation scope and objectives and manage implementations to timely completion, proactively keeping stakeholders informed of status
- Helping with change management and supporting training efforts for newly implemented features and functionality, acting as the key technical resource for users
- Engaging in industry/organization roundtables and attending events to identify solutions that will further enhance the effectiveness of the Bullhorn ecosystem
- Overseeing data accuracy and compliance, engaging with leadership on data quality issues and resolution
- Managing ongoing configuration and maintenance of our three Bullhorn instances Sales/Delivery, Talent Acquisition, Sales /Delivery NPE and related integrations and APIs
- Managing application support tickets to resolution through Bullhorn Technical Support or our third-party developer (for issues related to customizations), maintaining SLAs and user satisfaction. Meet with users and source issues when necessary. Identify address root-causes to prevent reoccurring tickets where possible
- Maintaining thorough and complete documentation regarding the design and configuration of the system and integrations with other applications as well as SOPs.
- Preparing status updates and other ad-hoc reporting at the request of the leadership.
Requirements:
- In depth knowledge of the Bullhorn ecosystem
- Bullhorn CRM/ATS experience or similar
- Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field, or bachelor’s degree with experience in Staffing/Managed Solutions company Operations.
- Minimum GPA of 3.5
- Minimum 5 years of experience working in Applications Analyst or Management function or responsibility of key applications within a Staffing/Managed Solutions company
- Flexible, team-oriented and with a “customer service” mindset – we are a fast growth, high change environment and being adaptable, personable and willing to help is key to success
- Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills; the ability to work well with people from different disciplines with varying degrees of technical experience; competence in clear concise and tactful communication with senior executive management, clients, peers, and team members.
- Excellent staffing and managed solutions industry knowledge including business processes, KPIs and success factors
- Proactive project management skills, able to manage actions, timelines and communications from kick-off through completion
- Strong functional Quality Assurance skills
- Ability to solve complex technical problems related to application and/or configuration with actionable solutions
- Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced, high-growth, rapidly changing environment and cope under pressure and prioritize work accordingly

- BullhornOne (implementing in 2022/2023)
- Reporting / Canvas (i.e. Cognos 10)
