Interview Process: 2 step, Virtual Interview via WebEx Video (30-min conversational followed by 60-min technical, panel)

Position Duration: Starting as 18-24-month contract position with intent to convert direct-hire. This is an ongoing need and is not attached to a specified end-date.

W2 Hourly Pay Range(negotiable):
$63 – $70/hr. W2 + Medical Benefits, Sick Leave, PTO & 401K Options
– We can also facilitate Corp-to-Corp employment at an adjust rate

Project Details:
This developer will join a team that is leading a massive overhaul of technology. The team is looking to create a code base in Angular that can be used for both web and mobile applications. This engineer will support customer-facing software and will join Spectrum’s SSPP department.

Required Skills & Experience:

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• 5+ years of professional Angular development experience
• RxJs experience
• NgRx experience

Nice to Have Skills:

• Ionic/Capacitor development experience
• Telecommunications industry experience
• GraphQL (Apollo)development experience

Day to Day Responsibilities:

• This role is 100% front end dev focused
• Designs, modifies, develops, writes and implements software programming applications. Supports and/or installs software applications/operating systems. Participates in the testing process through test review and analysis, test witnessing and certification of software. Familiar with a variety of the field’s concepts, practices, and procedures. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of complicated tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. 10+ years of experience.

Requirements:

• Ability to read, write, speak and understand English
• Strong foundation in data structures, algorithms and functional programming
• Strong, demonstrated understanding of front-end web application development, including Angular/NG, vanilla JavaScript, CSS, HTML, and associated technologies (build systems, cloud-based environments, full-stack architectures, etc.)
• Strong understanding of best practices in front-end web application architecture and development
• Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies
• Ability to deliver against several initiatives simultaneously
• Ability to prioritize and organize effectively
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Excellent analytical and troubleshooting abilities
• Ability to manage complex and diverse projects
• Experience leading working-level teams through the full software development lifecycle
