Quality Assurance Engineer

The Select Group has a client seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to test products and features for software simulating semiconductor fabrication processes. This position is hybrid in Boston, MA.

Requirements:
1. 1+ year of testing (QA) experience in a professional setting
2. Understanding of Computer Science fundamentals and basic proficiency with scripting
3. Experience with test automation – JavaScript/Typescript are preferred languages
4. Experience with test automation tools (Cypress or Squish preferred)
5. Relevant industry experience (technology industry preferred, semiconductor/networking experience would be a big plus)
6. Strong communication skills

Day-to-day responsibilities:

• Test software that simulates semiconductor fabrication process
• Work with developers/product managers to define test cases and write basic test cases
• Test various software features, including UI
• Automate tests where possible using JavaScript and Cypress/Squish
• Document test results and partner with various groups to communicate testing feedback and recommendations
