Program Details & Summary: Our client is seeking NOC Technicians for a customer facing role within a federal support NOC taking incoming customer calls, working through tickets, troubleshooting issues, and escalating as needed to the correct teams. This role will be supporting various federal customers and all candidates must be able to obtain and retain a Public Trust clearance.

Required Technology Skills:
- 2+ years of experience in troubleshooting network issues both circuit and routing with heavy focus on routing and IP related issues. Layer 2 and Layer 3 troubleshooting.
- Working knowledge of Cisco IP addressing, subnets, default gateways, static routes, DHCP,
DNS, NAT, PAT, STP, AAA. - Strong knowledge in configuring MPLS VPN on various protocols.
- Hands-on routing experience in multi-protocol environment including routing protocols such
as RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP on Cisco Routers. - Good understanding of layer 3 VPN, GRE, VRF, DMVPN, GET VPN technologies, VoIP
configuration and testing. - Basic working knowledge of TCP/IP Routing, IP Address Management (IPAM), Routing and Switching troubleshooting and and understanding of circuit layouts.
- Experience managing customer incoming calls in a call center environment.
- Must be a US Citizen able to obtain and retain a Public Trust after hire.

Day to Day Responsibilities:
- Working in a customer facing role within a federal NOC taking incoming customer calls, working through tickets, troubleshooting issues, and escalating as needed.
- Implement traffic filters using standard and extended access lists.
- Working knowledge of Cisco IP addressing, subnets, default gateways, static routes, DHCP,
DNS, NAT, PAT, STP, AAA. - Configure MPLS VPN on various protocols.
- Routing in multi-protocol environment including routing protocols such
as RIP, OSPF, EIGRP, and BGP on Cisco Routers - Layer 3 VPN, GRE, VRF, DMVPN, GET VPN technologies, VoIP configuration and testing.
- Configure VLAN and static routing.
- Implement, troubleshoot, maintain, and administer network configuration to meet security
and system standards for customer networks. - Troubleshoot, resolve, and document network connectivity issues for supported devices.
- Responsible for providing technical support to customers, identifying, and resolving reported issues.
- Interfaces with internal departments and end user customers.
- Direct impact on the resolution of complex trouble situations.
- Provides technical support to include remote trouble diagnostics and correction.
- Assists with answering customer calls during overflow/outage situations.
- Escalation of customer and network trouble to ensure timely resolution.
- Keep teams updated with daily progress reports on any assigned actions.
