Network Automation Architect ( Telecom/5g)
The Select Group is seeking a Network Automation Architect with a background in core networking ( LTE, 4g, 5g, Core network planning) for their top Telecommunication client in Canada. In this role, the Network Automation Architect will be responsible for designing end to end network automation applied to 5g. Remote candidate are welcomed to apply!
SKILLS:
- Minimum 7 years of professional experience
- Significant software development experience with one or more major computer languages, Python, C++, Java
- Experience using cloud systems such as AWS, GCP, Azure
- Proficiency using Linux
- Understanding network design, especially in area 5G domain
- Experience with cloud technologies and virtualization
Responsibilities:
- Identify the existing gaps in the network to get a fully automated network from deployment, assurance, and capacity planning
- Designing E2E network automation framework applied to Radio, core, transport, service, and cloud (hyper scaler) domain
- Designing/developing systems that use abstraction layers to simplify the system/network integration
- Designing/developing automation software/scripts
