Network Consulting Engineer
One of the Select Group’s clients is seeking a Network Consulting Engineer to join their team and assist in the upgrade of a Data Centre environment – including the implementation of ACE and the migration of Nexus 7ks to 9ks. This role will be on-site in Ottawa and requires an active Level II Secret Clearance.
Network Consulting Engineer Requirements:
- Level II (Secret) Clearance
- Previous Network Consulting Experience
- Experience working with customers on diverse/complex network implementations
- Great communication abilities
- Cisco Data Center engineer expertise
- Strong Nexus 9K implementation Experience
- Strong ACI implementation Experience
- CCIE (data center, R/S or relevant) or relevant work experience
Network Consulting Engineer Responsibilities:
- Act as SME to client in network implementation
- Implementing ACE and a migration of Nexus 7K’s to 9K’s
- 75% of work will be implementation, Proof-of-concept and testing. 25% will be troubleshooting (handled by TAC team but overseeing support)
