Mobile Application Tester – Austin, TX

One of The Select Group’s top clients is looking for an experienced Mobile Application Tester to join the client’s team that is responsible for growth marketing operations. Consultants will be testing a high-volume mobile transaction system. This is a hybrid opportunity in Austin, TX going onsite three days a week.

***We are only able to work with the client on a W2 basis.

TOP SKILLS:

• Must have 5+ years’ experience in Quality Assurance and/or User Acceptance Testing for consumer facing mobile applications

• Must be able to create test strategy and test design for a native/hybrid mobile application
  • Test design for global communications
  • Test design across different devices
  • Test design across different languages
• Experience with design, development and execution of End-to-End tests across multiple integrated systems
• Results oriented, positive attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment

PLUS SKILLS:

• Experience with Python or Java programming language and its utilization for test automation
• Experience with creation of End to End, Functional and Integrated automated tests for mobile platform.

DAY TO DAY:

• Create test strategy and test design for a mobile application on iOS platform
• Working with engineering teams on new features within the testing platform but also to understand new features within the business applications and use cases
• Participating in a peer review process for testing
• Working cross functionally to provide insights to gaps in the testing process to ensure 100% accuracy on campaigns
