Quality Assurance Lead
The Select Group is seeking a Quality Assurance (QA) Lead for our top client in Canada. In this role, you will focus on system quality assurance and testing with the rest of the technical team on this high-profile IoT system. At the core of your strengths is your ability to see the big picture -Lead the quality assurance team for system testing of software and hardware integrations - custom developed and third party integrations
Quality Assurance Lead Responsibilities
- Develop QA plans, set up QA processes and environments and tools, lead test script development.
- Work collaboratively within the software development and hardware team in a cloud environment.
- Provide QA support to front end and back end software development team, and hardware teams, and operational support teams as required
- Optimize and apply best QA practices.
- Create and maintain high standards of quality for tests, technical documentation, and deliverables.
- Knowledge and experience in the Internet of Things industry
- Telecommunications experience. Mobility experience.
- Fleet Management experience.
Quality Assurance Lead Requirements:
?
- A minimum of 10 years of related industry experience working in quality assurance testing of system environments - software and hardware.
- 5+ years of recent experience providing QA leadership for - manual and automation testing. End to end system testing leadership.
- Experience testing software front end user interface software
- Experience testing software backend software, APIs, databases.
- Experience testing hardware devices such as modems, sensors, cameras, raspberry pi
- Experience in leading creating, maintaining, and enhancing test scripts
- Knowledge and skill in Performance testing.
- Hands-on project experience using testing tools such as Selenium, WinRunner, LoadRunner, Katalon, Protractor, Cypress
- Hands-on project experience using Jira, repositories such as GitHub, GitLab, BitBucket.
- Good understanding of software design and testing patterns
- Familiarity with software development tools such as Angular or React, Java, Node.JS, APIs, Postman, and databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDb, MySql
- Good communication skills both verbal and written at a team level.
- Experience in working with the Agile/DevOps methodology and CI/CD pipeline
- Experience with Cloud technology either AWS, GCP
- University degree in Computer Science or Engineering
