Generative AI Data Analyst

Location: Hybrid – Cupertino, CA (Onsite Tues-Thurs)
Duration: 12+ months, with potential for extensions

About the Role

We are seeking a Data Analyst with experience in Generative AI (GenAI), Machine Learning (ML), and Business Intelligence (BI) to support AI-driven analytics, model evaluation, and performance tracking. This role will work cross-functionally with engineers, AI researchers, and product teams to develop insights that drive AI adoption and optimization.

Responsibilities

• Analyze and evaluate Generative AI models, tracking key performance metrics such as accuracy, drift, and efficiency.
• Develop SQL queries and create dashboards in Tableau, Looker, or Power BI to monitor AI-driven insights.
• Provide data-driven recommendations for AI model fine-tuning and optimization.
• Collaborate with AI/ML teams to establish benchmarking standards and model evaluation frameworks.
• Support AI research initiatives by analyzing industry trends and presenting key insights.
• Work with engineering and business stakeholders to integrate AI-powered insights into decision-making processes.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of experience in data analysis, business intelligence, or AI model evaluation.
• Strong SQL proficiency for querying large datasets and analyzing AI model performance.
• Hands-on experience with BI tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Power BI for reporting and visualization.
• Exposure to Generative AI models such as GPT-4, BERT, DALL·E, or Stable Diffusion.
• Understanding of AI model performance tracking, benchmarking, and drift detection.
• Strong analytical and communication skills to translate AI-driven insights into business impact.
• Experience with Python, R, or ML frameworks is a plus.
• Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP) for AI/ML model deployment is a plus.
