Data Scientist

Title: Data Scientist
Location: Greenwood Village CO – onsite hybrid (4&1)
Duration: 12+ month contract

Skills:

• 5+ years of Data Science experience doing data manipulation and statistical modeling
  • Understanding of data architecture, data warehouse and data marts
  • Extensive experience with large data sets and the tools to obtain, transform, and store data on Big Data and streaming services
• 5+ years of Python experience
  • Expert-level skills and experience with Python (including relevant packages) in support of advanced analytics
• 5+ years of experience in SQL & Excel, demonstrating strong analytical proficiency in both
• 3+ years of experience leading the design, development, and deployment of machine learning and analytics models
• Effective synthesis and presentation skills.
• Ability to communicate results and recommendations to a wide variety of audiences including executive leadership.
  • Leverage consultative experience delivering insights on large, structured and unstructured data to product owners and executives with strong communications skills (verbal, written PowerPoint).

• Experience with Hadoop, Hive, Spark, and or AWS
• Experience with other database and data store technologies, such as NoSQL, key-value, columnar, graph, and document

• Comprehensive experience with machine learning models (regression, decision trees, clustering, SVMs, neural networks)

• Knowledge of other relevant techniques such as text analysis and text mining
• Background with cable and/ or telecommunications
• Program, product, or project management experience delivering analytics results.
