Job Title: Data Analyst
Start Date: ASAP
Job Duration: Through July 2024, potential extension
Location: Remote- may have to flex hours to pst at times, but majority is own hours

Project Details:

The team is looking for a Data Analyst who can support their ERP systems (Oracle and FICO) and run the systems as part of the demand management. They will be writing queries (SQL) and extracting data, loading the data into Snowflake (their data warehouse) and from them creating dashboards in Tableau. This position will go beyond just linking data to a dashboard, they must understand the business requirements (financial or operations background would be helpful) that way when they extract the data they know what they are looking for- she often relies on the analyst to run metrics on the ERP health (i.e. stability in a specific field).

Must Haves:

• Analytical Experience
• Python/ R (if they can’t get everything from SQL, python will be used to merge the data extractions) , SQL (create queries that will be loaded into Snowflake and tests will run via SQL) and Tableau (dashboard/ report creation so they can run tests on the system)
  • • Example: the allocation tool, FICO, breaks down, they need to understand what broke, which mean running tests on different systems

• Experience with a top-tier ERP and planning systems (Oracle, SAP, NetSuite, etc. )
  • • Preference is Oracle and FICO (module)
• Experience transforming data into presentations that “tell the story” behind the data
• Curious and strong interest in diving deep on analyses, ability to evaluate business needs to create KPIs and metrics to help business track growth and success

Nice to Have:

• Business Operations/ Finance experience

What You Will Do:

• Support ongoing analysis of business performance trends and insights required to inform decisions, producing reports and analytics to help teams achieve their goals
• Present your research and insights to all levels of the company, clearly and concise
• Ability to create and evaluate SQL queries for use within BI tools and build dashboards to make key operational data available to teams

• Manage the effectiveness and efficiency of our planning systems, fix application production issues, test new features and code pushes, and perform analysis and run metrics when needed
