Job Title: Back End Developer
Job Duration: long term contract with strong chance of direct hire
Project Details: creating microservices used by internal employees. Immediate team has 20 people on it.
Must Have Skills:
* 4+ years of Java development experience
* Java8 server side development experience
* API development experience
* Background developing microservices
Nice to Have Skills:
- GraphQL
- Spring Boot
- Kubernetes
- Docker
- Side car for micro services
- Cassandra Db
- Gitlab
Day to day responsibilities: focused on development. Will attend daily stand ups, but main;y focused on hands-on development. Will be working on tickets by the tech. Working on internal facing apps used by other ppl at charter. They develop microservices/rest APi services developed in Java. Team also uses GraphQL.
